Attention Entrepreneurs. As children we are all taught to Stop, Look and Listen before crossing the road. What could happen if you don’t? The person who jumps into any opportunity before checking it out is an accident waiting to happen. Do you have any idea of how many sharks are in the waters of online business opportunities! More often than not you will be taken advantage of; you will lose your hard earned money, and in some cases give up on your chance and dreams of becoming successful online.
Follow these 10 tips and avoid the online scams aimed at entrepreneurs. Your odds of
success will greatly improve. Some are no-brainers but people still buy into this hype
everyday.
1. No, you cannot make money while you sleep or rake in a six figure salary in as little as two months. You cannot buy a business in a box and you cannot buy a business that you turn the key and the cash starts to flow. Keep in mind, if sounds too good to be true, it is.
2. There is no secret to online success. Most marketing materials you need can be found online for free if you look hard enough. Sign up for free information when available and stop paying for useless information. The only secret is your personal commitment to daily education.
3. If the website looks unprofessional, chances are the person you will be dealing with also will be. Each online entrepreneur should present themselves as the authority and should have the credibility factor. If the information you are provided on the website cannot be verified do not get involved with the business opportunity.
4. Any product advertised on a website which seems to ramble on and on in a variety of differing fonts about how great the opportunity and the product are is probably a scam.
5. Most images of checks allegedly earned by the marketer who is looking for a down line is probably faked and should be a red flag. How many millionaires do you know
that will share a copy of their checks?
6. Millionaires do not advertise on the Net in broken English. How many people
want to be mentored by a person of this standard. You need to find someone who has
business sense and has something to offer you and your new business opportunity.
7. Products which are faddish by nature have no future. Look for a product that has
proven longevity.
8. Do not invest money prior to being able to explore the business opportunity and do research until all of your questions have been answered to your satisfaction. Although some legitimate businesses operate that way, the majority will not require payment in
advance.
9. You should not be required to keep a certain amount of inventory on hand. In other words, if you are asked to buy $500 or $1,000 in inventory, red flag proceed with caution.
10. Last but not least, if it sounds fishy, take it off your hook and throw it back!
